Instructions for Esophageal Manometry Procedure

• Tell your physician in advance about all medications you are currently taking and any allergies you may have to medications, latex, etc.
• Do not eat or drink anything after midnight the evening before your procedure.
• You may brush your teeth and use mouthwash the morning of your procedure, but do not swallow any water.
• Patients can drive themselves home without assistance after the procedure.
